Tammy brings over 20 years of professional work experience in Human Resources and Client Relations for the Chemical Industry where she held a Management position with a large corporation. At Andreas Global Asset Management Group she oversees the organization’s operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
Her primary responsibilities involve P & L management, payroll, compiling monthly management reports, and advertising & marketing, ensuring the proper channels are maintained in communications. Tammy’s focus is also on ensuring the team at Andreas Global Asset Management Group is on target with the organizations compliance program and managing special company projects. Her careful, systematic approach with commitment to excellence and respect for confidentiality are valuable qualities in the various roles she is responsible for.
Melissa Derouen, Executive Assistant to Tim Andreas, is responsible for providing superior service to clients of Andreas Global Asset Management Group. Focusing primarily on opening new accounts, she also performs administrative functions on existing client accounts completing rollovers, beneficiary changes, processing client deposits, and coordinating with estate planning attorney and CPA’s offices. She will also be drastically improving on our Complete Financial Planning which includes reviewing existing insurance and long-term care policies and planning. Along with other administrative details she is also committed to process improvement that will ease our client’s financial life. She is the go-to person for online access questions, tax documents, and scheduling meetings with Tim. Melissa has 9½ years in the financial industry and she has her Series 6 and 63 Licenses as well as Life, Health and Accident Insurance, she is currently pursuing her Series 7 License.
Melissa is married to Nick Derouen, they have two beautiful daughters. They enjoy spending family time together and love camping. Their favorite vacation spot is Disney World. The girls are both in the French Immersion Program and enjoy the challenge of learning another language. They are members of Christian World Church in Lake Charles.
Laura Novak is our Assistant Director of Client Services. She joined our team in March 2016, and will work alongside Melissa to provide superior service to clients of Andreas Global Asset Management Group. She is the go-to person for online access questions, linking outside accounts and troubleshooting Investor Access, as well as all administrative aspects of 401(k) s.
Laura previously worked for seven years as a Legislative Aide in the Illinois State House, where she assisted in the drafting of legislation, managed a State Senator’s office and was clerk of the Senate Financial Institutions, Judiciary and Local Government committees. Her previous dedication in serving the needs of constituents in state government has carried over to ensuring that our clients receive first class concierge service and a “wow” experience every time they walk through our doors. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys reading, baking and spending time with her husband Ryan, and their two daughters, Lucy and Cameren.
Blaike Andreas, Junior Associate/Web Developer, works directly with Tim Andreas, President/CEO of Andreas Global Asset Management Group, and Investment Officer of RJFS, and serves as a right-hand team member providing operational support to Tim and other team of advisors and their client relationships at Andreas Global Asset Management Group. Blaike’s multi-faced role includes everything from preparing agendas, reports and paperwork for client meetings and facilitating all follow-up tasks from meetings, and conducting research. Blaike processes strong interpersonal skills and exhibits a strong inclination for top-tier client service.
Blaike is also responsible for designing and modifying Andreas Global Asset Management Group’s website, from layout to function, striving to create a visually appealing site that features user-friendly design and clear navigation for our clients. Blaike is currently pursuing his Series 7 License.
Sherri brings more than a decade of experience in financial and client services including 2 years designing and implementing sophisticated trading strategies for a private institution and 11 years as a Financial Advisor. Sherri holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and focuses on complex financial situations including business owner planning, business retirement plans, and wealth transfer strategies.
She began her career with AG Edwards (a predecessor company of Wells Fargo Advisors), as a Financial Advisor after years of watching her parents struggle to get solid financial guidance surrounding their closely-held business. Building on that experience, she has focused her business on helping serious investors, especially closely-held business owners just like them. Having professional assistance in developing and implementing customized, long-term financial strategies can make the difference between reaching your goals or falling short.
Her educational background includes a B.S. in Business Administration concentrating in finance with a double major in economics from Trinity University. She also holds a Financial Planning Certificate from Kaplan University.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Sherri and her husband, Tim currently live in Austin, Texas. To balance life and work, she enjoys yoga, weight-training, skydiving, reading, sports and spending time with family and friends. Sherri is a stepmom to an amazing stepson and have filled the roll of "mom/aunt" at various times to three of her beautiful nieces. Sherri and her family are active members of Lake Hills Church in Bee Caves, TX.
